As part of the investment, ADD Properties collaborate with Hyatt, to grow more Hyatt brands across Egypt, with new hotel openings across the country. The signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for ADD Properties’ ambitious strategic plan for Egypt took place on the 17th June 2025 at the Prime Minister’s office in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, H.E. Mr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism & Antiquities, Bassel Sami Saad, Chairman of ADD Properties, and Javier Águila, Group President, Europe, Africa and Middle East and President, Inclusive Collection at Hyatt. With ADD Properties’ expertise in development, operations, and management in Egypt, and Hyatt’s global scale and powerful distribution platform, this collaboration aims to achieve the highest quality standards in Egypt’s tourism and real estate offerings.
As part of the “Growth for Egypt” program, the investment plan marks the most substantial commitment to Egypt’s hospitality and tourism sector into branded and serviced residences. Through targeted investments in key geographies, the strategic alliance aims to unlock Egypt’s tourism potential, support long-term economic development, and strengthen the country’s position within the global hospitality landscape.
Following the successful and strong reintroduction of the Hyatt brand to Egypt in 2021, with the opening of Hyatt Regency Cairo West, ADD Properties and Hyatt recently expanded their footprint with the launch of Egypt’s first art-inspired hotel, Hyatt Centric Cairo West.
