ALDAU Development Lights Up Hurghada With the First Edition of ALDAU International Art Festival

ALDAU Development celebrated the first edition of the ALDAU International Art Festival (AIAF) in Hurghada, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities and the Red Sea Governorate. Organized by ADD Art, the festival aimed to boost tourism, highlight the significance of art, and establish Hurghada as a global hub for creators. The event featured a week-long series of art workshops at ALDAU Art Promenade from September 22nd to September 27th, where 40 national and international artists from Lithuania, Japan, the USA, Tunisia, and Egypt showcased their work in painting, sculpture, and various art forms. The masterpieces were later exhibited at ALDAU Exhibition Hall from October 2nd to October 7th.

The festival concluded with a grand closing ceremony featuring a performance by the legendary composer Omar Khairat. Malak Shenouda, Head of Arts and Events at ALDAU Development, emphasized the festival’s role in supporting artists and creative expression, marking the beginning of many such initiatives by ADD Art. Head of Marketing Mayada Abd El Motteleb highlighted the festival’s inclusion in the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’ annual touristic agenda, reinforcing ALDAU Development’s commitment to promoting and preserving art. With ongoing initiatives in Hurghada and Cairo, ALDAU Development aims to position these cities as key artistic and cultural destinations.
